Our Values

Sheffield Pickleball Club started in January 2025 as a non-profit, community club run by volunteers.
Our aim is to get as many people enjoying pickleball as possible, all across Sheffield.

We have three objectives:

• To be a welcoming club, inclusive to all

• To encourage high participation

• To provide geographical accessibility with a high number venues across the city

The Sheffield Pickleball Club Committee

Achievements in 2026 so far …

Club’s First Tournament‍ ‍
Mixed Doubles Tournament on Saturday 1st August 2026

New outdoor courts created: SPC in Partnership with Sheffield City Council
Sheffield has become the UK’s leading city for outdoor pickleball, with 18 new courts now available in parks across the city.

SPC attract large crowds at Olympic Legacy Event - June 2026
Fantastic day hosting pickleball at the Olympic Legacy event. It was non-stop pickleball for 5 hours with all three courts full. Always wonderful to introduce children and families to picklebalm and seeing everyone playing together with fun rallies and lots of laughter.

Charity Fundraising Event - 17th May 2026
12 hour non-stop pickleball event raising money for charity at Hallam Community Hall.

SPC players success at Graves Pickleball Tournament - 28th & 29th March 2026
A massive well done to all our members who took part in the Sheffield Pickleball Tournament this weekend. A big congratulations to Russ and Ashton who came first in the 3.0, 50+ doubles! Our first ever club winners. Well done to AJ and Ruth for coming close in the 50+ 3.0 doubles too.
